The Luxury Movement is an independent luxury house. We acquire exceptional pre-owned pieces — fine jewelry, bags, small leather goods, watches, and the occasional rarity — authenticate every one twice, and present each as though it were new. We are professional, well capitalized, and quiet about our relationships.
We never name who we buy from.
Our supply relationships are built over years and they are nobody else's business. We don't publish our sources, we don't discuss our terms, and we don't trade on someone else's name to sell a piece. The people we work with know that about us before they ever ship to us.
That holds in both directions and it holds indefinitely. It applies to a relationship that ends as much as one that continues.
We buy outright.
The capital and the risk are ours.
No consignment terms to chase, no settlement that waits on a sale, and no shared exposure if a piece turns out to be harder to place than either of us expected. Once it's ours, it's our problem.
What a piece meets here.
- Every piece is authenticated twice — yours is the first pass, ours is the second.
- Every piece is graded against a published rubric, so a grade means the same thing on every piece.
- Every flaw is photographed and recorded before a piece is offered to anyone.
- Every piece leaves us presented and packed as though it were new.
What we're looking for.
Categories rather than specifics, because the right piece is usually the one we didn't think to ask for.
- Fine jewelry
- Signed pieces especially. Specialist and appraiser path where the piece calls for it.
- Bags
- Structured and soft, across conditions. Honest wear is not a problem — undisclosed wear is.
- Small leather goods
- Wallets, card holders, pouches, document cases. Volume welcome.
- Watches
- Men's and women's, with or without papers. Straps and bracelets too.
- Soft accessories
- Silks, scarves, shawls. Condition and colour matter more than season.
- The occasional rarity
- Trunks, hard travel, one-offs, collector pieces. If it's unusual, tell us.
